By the 1990's, Noel Henry's Irish Showband (pictured here - l to r - Paul Kenneally, Larry Reynolds, Noel Henry, Tommie Henry, and Brendan Bulger) were well-known as the premier Irish dance band in the country. With 10 well-received recordings to their credit, they put together what turned out to be their last recording before Noel Henry's untimely death at the age of 46. In view of the subsequent events, three songs Noel sang on this recording: "The Voyage", "It's Our Anniversary", and "My Son" gain special significance.
