One of the most successful traditional folk duos to emerge from Ireland in the last 20 years, Finbar and Eddie Furey have managed to take traditional Irish and Celtic music and present it to a new, global audience. Their introduction to music came via their father, Ted Furey, an internationally renowned fiddle player and collector of songs. This body of work has been carried on by the Fureys, who have succeeded in keeping alive and relevant a great family tradition.
