In conjuction with his PBS special, A Time to Remember, first aired in March of 2002, This recording is an exploration of a range of musical styles and eras, reflecting the breadth of John's repertoire. The underlying theme is memories and the circle of life. A compilation of some of his most beloved songs from his previous recordings, he also includes "As Time Goes By" which is not on any of the other recordings available here, and re-releases the famous recording of his father singing "The Last Rose of Summer", made even more poignant as it is followed by John's moving redition of Phil Coulter's "The Old Man".
