This unique Irish rosary was handmade and is a custom piece, dedicated to Our Lady of Knock. Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist appeared in a blaze of light to 15 villagers in 1879 at St. John’s church in County Mayo. It is a generous 26in. long. The pewter floral crucifix and center remind us of the rose in her crown and has the Knock medal attached at the center. The "Our Father" beads at the beginning of the rosary and the "Hail Mary" beads throughout the body of the rosary measure 10mm and are beautiful twisted peridot. The striking green lustre twisted Peridot beads are graceful and unique. The "Our Father" and three beginning "Hail Mary" beads are oval shaped sterling silver and have sterling daisy caps. The pewter crucifix measures 2in. X 11/4 in. |
